Completing your very own online profile is not as easy as it might seem. Make sure you can complete an interesting profile, because it will act like your business card for dates.

Rule 1: Thou Shall Not Lie!

Don’t be afraid, this is not a religious demand. Nevertheless, lying is a very bad thing to do on online community websites. A profile with nice pics might assure initial success, of course. But what’s gonna happened at the date when we have to explain the differences? We all know how sensitive humans are, so lying is not a good way to start a relationship.

Rule 2: Identify what sets you apart from others.

All humans are beautiful in a way, all are unique in a certain manner and all are wonderful. We all have indubitable qualities but also nasty defects we have to keep under control.

When you talk about yourself, give as many details as possible. This doesn’t mean you have to give out any personal data, it only means you must point out your ideas and qualities. We all like to sneak into someone’s private life once in a while. This is why a profile full of info will catch many eyes. You might get contacted by persons that love the same music genders, that share the same love for ovation acoustic electric guitar as you do, that have your hobbies.

Rule 3: Write completely and accurately!

The Internet opened the world of a new language system, which is wrong and unaccepted in any other cycles. Even if you think words like “l8er” are “cool” they won’t make you look too smart. SMS talking and other chatting abbreviations are not recommendable when completing your social networking profile. Write nice and slowly and remember that the profile is your online card. A mistake-free page shows it belongs to an intelligent person. Hilarious pages are too much, you need to make your page just a bit funny.

Rule 4: Choose GOOD photos.

We don’t have to be really beautiful or experienced to make some nice pictures. Unfortunately most people guide themselves on first impression and looks when choosing a potential date. Because of this truth, we must choose some pictures of us that are both impeccable and original. Avoid blurred or defocused pictures.
