Buy One Give One (BOGO) is the home of transaction-based giving.

STOP. Take a breath. And imagine you were part of a world where every single transaction made a difference.

Imagine, for a moment, you bought a television, and automatically a cataract-blind child got the gift of sight. Automatically. Or imagine if today you purchased a cup of coffee and someone in Africa got access to clean, pure water as a direct result. Again automatically.

It’s all happening right now. Already Buy1GIVE1 (Buy1/Give1) has become a true global giving ‘village’, bringing together businesses, their customers and worthy causes in a way that’s never been done before.

It’s happening globally, every second, every day and in every way with a staggering 556 projects already underway and making a difference.

That’s because in the Buy1GIVE1 world, every single transaction, be it buying a beer in Jamaica or renting a car in Reno (and everything in between) gives back in a well-defined, resonant and measurable way.

Nowadays, when both corporations and charities have seen a decline in gains and contributions, cause-related marketing appears to really be catching on. Cause-related marketing is a business strategy involving a partnership between a company with a product to trade and a charity with a cause to advance. Unlike “corporate philanthropy,” which merely includes a company making a tax-deductible charitable donation, cause-related marketing benefits both the company (by helping to increase sales, and thus, profits), and the charity (by giving donations and calling attention to the cause.)

You buy a book, a tree is planted. You dine out, a child is fed. Buy One Give One - simple. The list is endless and the giving simply happens automatically, every second, every day and in every way.

And it is beautifully simple. Buy1GIVE1 is now becoming a global movement as more and more businesses jump on board and enjoy the incredible benefits of transaction based giving.

In Buy1GIVE1, they make it a point that in all cases, the consumer is not just engaged in CSR initiatives on a day-to-day basis. Buy1-Give1 gives answers to that and it does it every second, every day and in every way.

Find out more about how Buy1GIVE1 (BOGO) can transform your business using Cause Marketing.

Screen printing is one of the initial methods used in printing process. In this process, the ink or any other printing medium is passed through a screen or ‘mesh’ that has been fixed on a frame, and a stencil has been applied to it. The image that needs to be imprinted is determined from the stencil openings. For the different colors, different screens are prepared and the process is repeated.

The silk screen printing also known as serigraphy is a multiple printing technique that involves the use of stencils in order to transfer the design. The paint is applied on the silk screen and affects the areas that are not blocked by the stencil. Many colors can be applied by using several stencils in a single print. The serigraphy was developed as a commercial medium and is still used by modern artists. The silk screen has been replaced with a polyester material that is widely available and is also cheap as compared with silk material.

Screen painting is the technique developed by the Chinese almost 2000 years back and the screen was made of human hair stretched across a wooden frame. The Japanese developed it further by using the woven silk as mesh and lacquers as stencils. Europe adopted this technique much later as it involved silk which was not available in the Europe.

The screen printing in the United Sates became popular when the artist Andy Warhol screen printed Marilyn Monroe in year 1962 in the garish colors. In year 1960, the American entrepreneur, inventor and artist Michael Vasiltone developed and patented a rotary multicolor garment screen printing machine. He used this rotary machine to manufacture and print information of bowling on different garments but soon he turned his attention on printing team logos and information on t-shirts. This soon led to led a boom in t-shirt screen printing business and many more manufacturers licensed from him in order to print on t-shirts. The rotary garment screen printing machine became the most popular device used in the screen printing industry.

The screen printing was developed as an industrial technology but it was adopted by the artist for expressing and as a repeating medium to duplicate their works before 1900s. This is a very popular in both the commercial printing and also by artists and it is used to print images on different mediums like CD and DVD covers, glassware, ceramics, hats, woodwork, metals, t-shirts and hats.

Currently, graphic screen printing is used in creation of mass or large batch production graphics such as posters or display stands. The screen printing is more suitable for printing on non-porous surfaces like ceramics and metals, curved surfaces like bottles and cups and also for short print runs.

Large and small corporate give gifts to their employees and clients in appreciation of their work and also to motivate the employees to perform better. Screen Printing Tshirts So You Can Use As A Corporate Gift

The term ‘printing’ may be explained as the procedure of creating lettering and pictures, usually using ink and paper via a printing press. The science of printing has really advanced and progressed over the years. Screen-printing, in all of its various forms, is a popular technique.

Screen-printing, or silk-screening, is a process ideally used on fairly flat surfaces. In this procedure, a fine mesh screen is secured snugly across a sturdy frame, with the screen masking the region which remains unprinted. To make the print, the screen is positioned atop the material along with a swath of dense ink. Using a squeegee tool, the ink is pushed through the screen part. The ink soaks into the region that is not masked, forming the print, while the masking keeps any ink from making contact, resulting in distinguished areas. Next the printed material goes through a hot passageway until the ink dries and it is ready to be packed up.

When a multi-color print is made, the procedure is performed again, changing screens. Thus, multi-color prints necessitate multiple screens positioned on a rotary press or performed manually, aligning the various colored prints in conjunction.

There are different methods of masking a screen. The simplest thing to do is to employ masking fluid right onto the screen. This process works very well for two-color graphics, while a photosensitive emulsion procedure is utilized for jobs involving multiple colors.

If you don’t specify what you want when you order a custom shirt, you may end up with your design printed in a sticky, plastic-containing ink. Water-based inks work best for the worn, vintage-looking shirts. If you want the look of a stark and heavier print, request an ink that contains plastics and is applied by a hot press.

Inks containing plastics are used by many screen printers because often they last longer, are richer, heavier and more easily seen, not to mention being easier on the screen printing equipment. Within a short time frame, plastic inks can begin to crack up, though. Natural inks last longer and they look better too.

Corporate Gifts - How They Are Advantageous For Your Organization

While individual gift-giving to near and dear ones is an age old practice, not many are aware of the culture of giving corporate gifts. These gifts, unlike personal gifts, are given to customers or people working in your organization to show gratitude for their association or service.

Corporate gifts are typically costly items and they do not feature any business symbol or brand name, as they are not meant for marketing or advertising. However, businesses often conduct marketing through distribution of merchandise like pens, mouse pads, USB drives, and other gifts to the workforce and prospective customers.

While giving a corporate gift, it is critical to keep in mind the interests of the person to whom the gift is being presented, and to customize it accordingly. Companies usually like to give personalised and expensive gifts to their key customers, but internally they normally give out a moderately expensive, but useful gift.

In order to strengthen and promote a healthy association with a client or a member of the staff, it is essential to remember that the apparent worth of the corporate gift is critical. Referring to in house lawyers of your organization before giving corporate gifts is advisable, because in some countries the law might prohibit it.

It is advisable to prepare for corporate gift-giving in advance by setting a budget, planning the number of gifts to purchase, and hunting for bulk deals with retailers. The preparation is more important with respect to employee gifts, even more so if your business is a mid-sized or large corporation. It is important to make sure that there are sufficient gifts to express your thankfulness to every deserving employee.

In conclusion, the practice of giving a corporate gift to your customers and employees is a good option for building sound working associations. But don’t forget to keep the legal and financial factors in mind.

In this, the stencil method of the print making imposes a design on the screen of silk or any other fine mesh and the empty areas are covered with an impermeable substance while the ink is put on the printing surface through the mesh. The silk printing was the traditional method but now it has been replaced with the polyester for screen painting.

During the reign of Song dynasty in China, the screen printing appeared in the recognizable form. Japan and other Asian countries started using this printing method and advanced it further by using this in conjunction with paints and block printing. Asia introduced screen painting to the Western Europe in the late 1700s but screen painting was not used widely in the Europe due to unavailability of silk mesh here and it started gaining wider acceptance when silk mesh on trade with Asia became easily available and also, other mediums that could be used were developed.

Printing is a process of producing images and text, normally utilizing ink, paper and a printing press. Printing has changed considerably and improved over time. Screen printing is among the most common printing techniques.

Screen-printing, also referred to as silk screening, is a method that is best for surfaces that are comparatively flat. In this process, fine mesh or a screen is tightly stretched over a rigid frame, with the screen masking areas which will not be printed. In order to make a print, the screen is placed atop the item that is to be printed; then a blob of thick ink is applied. Next the ink is pressed through the screen with the assistance of a squeegee. The ink clings to the unmasked area, thereby creating the print, and the masked area is protected from ink incursion. After this, the printed item goes through a heated tunnel that dries the ink so that items can be stacked or put into packages.

For more than one color, this procedure is repeated with additional screens. For example, a print of four colors will be created with four different screens; this is either done on a rotary press or by hand to ensure that the screens are aligned correctly on the image.

There are many different methods for masking a screen. For simple projects, a masking fluid may be applied directly on the screen. Two-color graphics work best with this method; more complex multi-colored jobs will look better with a photosensitive emulsion process.

If you are unsure what to request when ordering, remember that a screen printer’s t-shirt printed with ink with plastics will be hot and tacky afterwards. It might be wise to request water-based inks if you prefer a softer, vintage-look screen printed shirt. But if you are wanting a heavy laid print, you should request ink containing plastics to be applied with a hot press.

A lot of screen printing pros utilize plastic-based inks, since they are gentler on the screen printing gear and are often stronger, more vivid and bold. Inks containing plastic may begin cracking within a brief time. Choosing natural inks creates a more attractive and longer-wearing appearance.

Street Smart Marketers Thrive Using Web Site Marketing Services During Tough Economic Times.

Optimize Search Engine Results | How to Optimize Search Engine Results | Optimize Search Engine Results

In these turbulent times, many companies seek to cut back their marketing efforts to save a buck. Depending on what type of financial position you’re currently in, a cutback may be a necessity for your company. In most cases however, cutting back marketing isn’t essential - and it isn’t necessarily wise.

Let me elaborate on this point a little bit further.

History tells us that many of the people and businesses that achieve the greatest success, gain that success by going “against the grain”. They’re unconventional. Instead of adopting a “herd” mentality, something about their approach or methods are different.

Warren Buffet, perhaps the greatest investor in history, subscribes to this way of thinking.

Most of us know Warren Buffet as a conservative, blue chip investor who invests in stable companies over the long term, and who would seem to avoid a lot of risk in his investments. When we look a little closer at Buffet’s recent investments, we uncover his eight billion dollar investment in Goldman Sacks and GE (a large portion of his total net worth). When many investors were running for the hills by selling their investments off for the fear of further market losses, Buffet was doing the opposite.

While most people were cashing out of the markets, Buffet was moving in - and moving in big.

You simply can’t expect extraordinary results by doing ordinary things. Warren Buffet does things that most of us won’t do, and these actions provide him with great financial upside.

Similarly, shrewd businesses also see this market downturn as a land grab opportunity that can offer high financial rewards. While their competitors slash marketing budgets and cocoon into a near hibernation, street smart marketers are engaging in a veritable market share land grab - and they’re topping up on cutting-edge web site marketing services at their disposal to help get the job done.

How are web site marketing services a wise choice for generating customer leads? Listed below are just a few of the advantages of online marketing when compared to traditional marketing methods:

1.) Internet marketing is generally much more cost effective than traditional marketing methods and yields a higher return on investment.

2.) Online marketers can test their online marketing campaigns on nominal budgets, allowing them to predict the overall efficacy of a larger future campaign to a good degree of accuracy.

3.) Investing in online marketing methods often present a long term payoff, in contrast to many traditional marketing methods. (ex: SEO and Affiliate Marketing partnerships often carry long term residual lead generation benefits vs. campaigns in radio, television or print which carry short term payouts - and spending must continue in order to draw additional payoffs).

4.) Online marketing is very flexible. Things can be updated and changed, started and stopped - in real time.

And I could go on…

Amidst the current economic climate, I invite you to think out-of-the-box and go on the offensive with your marketing. Be smart. Think like a contrarian, and go against the grain - because that’s how big gains are made. Experiment with new forms of marketing like the many web site marketing services available to you and take a data driven approach to your spending. Seek to aggressively gain market share while your competitors are putting their business growth on hold.
