Some call it ”neesh”, others call it “nitch”…regardless of your choice of pronunciation, niche marketing is a powerful form of marketing on the internet. Niche marketing involves capitalising on one specific field of interest. Ultimately, the deeper you channel into a niche, the less competition you’ll have and the more money you will make. The trickiest part is finding that corner that few other people have already occupied. I’ll give you an example, I’ve just done a search on Google. I searched the keyword “dolphin”, which resulted in 31,700,000 sites competing for that keyword! Nope, no good. Ok, so what about “fluro green dolphin”? That’s a lot better, only 2,210 this time. But “fluro green dolphin suitcase” is perfect. That gives me a much more helpful number of only 268. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting you go and market fluro green dolphin suitcases!…but you get what I’m saying. Ideally, you want to find a niche that results in a small amount of others doing a similar thing. It’ll be a lot easier for you if you don’t have to jump over thousands and thousands of other competing sites in search engine rankings. So, you’ve got a niche, and you’re ready to go. What do you do now?…everything and anything you can! Attack your niche from as many angles as possible! Get the word out! Market, market, market it! Make videos, write blogs, do press releases, jump on all the social networks. Your goal is to create an online presence as fast as you can. We all know how quickly things can happen on the net. Don’t miss your chance. Grab your niche and run! Creating an online presence can be achieved in quite a short amount of time. Have an action plan, set yourself schedules, and work steadily and consistently. You want to avoid sprinting too fast in the beginning, only to find yourself exhausted and out of breath, come a couple days or weeks time. Get a blog going. Write interesting, informative and useful posts - give viewers (and your potential customers) good value. Be sure to post on your blog at least 3 times per week. Make each post 200-400 words. Some posts can be videos. Be creative and have fun with it. Don’t include your business or back links on all your posts…you don’t want to annoy people by being too pushy or hypey. I also suggest doing a couple of videos per week, and put them up on the various video media sites. Articles…write at least 2 per week (but one per day is preferable) and scatter these around to the multitude of various article directory sites. Or, better still, research the companies that will whiz them around for you. This saves an unbelievable amount of time. There’s loads of ways to do niche marketing and advertising. Niche marketing can be amazingly profitable, so do your due diligence (as I’m sure you would anyway) and do some research first, in order to develop your niche marketing strategy. As I mentioned to you earlier, the harderst part will really only be working out your “neesh”, your “nitch” in the first place! Get Tons Of Free Traffic Using A Marketing Funnel

So what’s a “Marketing Funnel”? And why do I need it? If you’re selling something online, like a service, a business opportunity, a product or whatever…the “marketing funnel” will be a hugely powerful strategy to help you generate a massive amount of free traffic to your website. The marketing funnel is used by many of the top marketers across the net. To explain the analogy, the narrow end of the funnel is your opt-in page or website where prospects enter their email address and go through to make a direct sale. The wide end of the funnel is the catchment area for all the potential web traffic coming from a wide variety of sources. If you build a very large, far-reaching funnel, you can drive a monstrous amount of traffic. So what exactly makes up the wide end of the funnel? To a certain extent, this is only limited by your imagination and how big you want the funnel to be. A robust and effective funnel would certainly include some of the following areas: - - Social Media sites, eg. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Orkut - Video Media channels like YouTube, Metacafe, Viddler and Revver - Article Sites, eg. Ezine Articles, Article Base and Buzzle - Blogs such as Blogspot, Wordpress and Wikis - Social Review Sites such as Squidoo and Hubpages In addition to this, you may also want to consider the following; - Press Release sites, eg. Free-Press-Release.com - Picture sites, eg. Flickr and Zoomr - Social Bookmarking and linking sites such as Delicious, Digg, Stumbleupon and Propeller You can generate all the traffic youll ever need, simply due to the massive amounts of people who use them, by establishing and maintaining a presence on these social sites. The idea is to be putting out regular content to as many places as possible. And always make sure you’re linking back to your opt-in page. You can effectively leverage your time with this strategy. For example, just one article can provide you with an incredible amount of content for all these different networks. What this will do, is boost your appearance as an authority figure, build your online presence, and expose you to a never-ending supply of prospects for you business. An additional benefit of this system, is that due to all the back links, your search rankings for your main website in Google, Yahoo and others, will massively improve. It is true that setting up a quality social media traffic network can take some time, but its well worth it. Once youre set up, the time required will become considerably less and less. After the initial set up of your accounts, which is where the biggest chunk of your time will go…all you’ll need to do is schedule in some time to add more content. This is a continuous process, but it all adds up and you’ll see it growing and growing. This is obviously not something that can be mastered overnight, but the more of it you do, the bigger the pay off will be. As you gradually build your funnel, you’ll become very proficient at it, and you’ll see results super fast. The more of this you do, the more you’ll learn and find faster and easier ways to accomplish your main goals. Once you get going there will be a snowball effect. The longer period of time you’re on the networks, the more credibility you will get and as a result, you will grow an extremely large number of followers. Naturally, followers who like and trust you equals tons of traffic, which will ultimately lead to tons of sales and huge profits. Which is of course, the name of the game! The Story Of The Opt-In List And The Email
Friday, June 12th, 2009|
Optimize Search Engine Results | How to Optimize Search Engine Results | Optimize Search Engine Results |

When done correctly, building your opt-in list can be radically profitable for your online business and a wonderful use of your time. As you are no doubt already aware, emails are fast replacing regular mails from the post office. Not just because it’s cheaper, but also because its much faster. Emails can be sent in as fast as five seconds, depending on the server, anywhere in the world. Many businesses are now realizing the importance of email marketing. Online businesses can market their product directly to their customers through emails. Email marketing is used to reach target audiences as quickly and as direct as possible. Email marketing is also used by businesses, in order to maintain the contact, good relationships, trust and credibility, already established with their customers. Emails are being used to distribute newsletters, promotional mails, and other things. So, how do you round up email addresses? Here is where an opt-in list comes in. Basically, opt-in list refers to the list of email addresses of people who have agreed to subscribe to your mailing list. In this way, you can freely send emails that entail promotions, brochures, new product announcements, and every aspect of your marketing campaign. Building an opt in list means you not only increase the probability of being successful in email marketing, but you also boost your sales and profits as well. To build your opt-in list, add a subscribe link on your web site. It is advisable to put it on all the pages. Then make sure that it is strategically positioned, so the visitors can easily locate it. The upper right hand corner of the page would be a good position. Other key things in email marketing, are placing extra emphasis on what sets you apart from your competitors. And of course, its also important to know your product or service really well. Give your customers good content! Write articles, distribute information and always have your links included in them. And make sure that the information you give is relevant to the viewers. Do giveaways like freebies, offers and goodies that will require visitors to give you their email addresses to be able to join. Offer free courses to your visitors and do some networking. Join forums and discussions to build relationships with people. This is a great way for you to get more contacts, visitors and potential clients and customers. And it goes without saying, but once you have them, treat these email addresses with respect. Remember that your objective is to build trust and credibility and to establish long-term visitors and customers. Don’t jeopardize this by spamming. That’s just not cool. You want your customers to trust you and your products. Email marketing is a massively profitable business on the Internet. But it would not be complete and would never succeed without the help of the opt-in lists. Remember that these two must always go hand-in-hand, in order to be successful in the world of Internet marketing. Wishing you Great Successand happy marketing!
